I'm Bo Childs, president of the Tennessee Baptist Foundation. We thank you for visiting our website. We are excited about this new and high-tech way in which we can inform Tennessee Baptists in regard to our ministry. It is our goal to provide information and assistance in estate planning to Baptist people throughout Tennessee and to manage endowment gifts representing the stewardship of hundreds of donors since the Foundation was established in 1938. The Foundation currently manages over 84 million dollars in assets and realizes the God-given responsibility we have to produce income for Baptist causes in a professional and prudent way in accordance with the wishes of each donor. These funds represent over 1000 accounts. Included in these accounts are scores of individuals, over 50 churches or associations and The Tennessee Baptist Convention, Tennessee Baptist Children's Homes, Inc., Tennessee Baptist Adult Homes, Inc., Carson-Newman College, Harrison-Chilhowee Baptist Academy, and Union University. The Foundation considers itself to be a partner to ALL Tennessee Baptist institutions.
Besides fund management the Foundation also assists individuals in the preparation of wills or trusts. Will and trust seminars are done in churches upon request.
